Dark Knight - A Tier

As soon as you start the game, you will be greeted with the very first class, the Dark Knight. They are the iconic frontline of many MU games, wielding swords and axes while specializing in close combat, dealing strong physical damage, and boasting high durability. Unlike the other fragile classes, the DK can stay in the middle of battle while standing and banging with the opponent for a long time.

The thing about this class is that you should definitely focus on upgrading it because the Dark Knight character will initially give you lots of progression, and it's only till later in the game when you should focus on upgrading the others. 

For players who enjoy durable warriors and powerful skills like Blow or Blade Storm, the Dark Knight Class is the perfect pick. 

Ranger - S Tier

Rangers are crit special characters that can be your go-to damage dealer in the game. This character uses bows and crossbows while dominating the enemies from a distance. For dungeons, bosses, and even enemies that are close combat, having a Ranger and upgrading it would never hurt you. 

The best part about Ranger is that it delivers high critical damage and strong burst attacks from a distance. However, they are like glass cannons, meaning that if an enemy comes too close, the character will definitely suffer heavily. What's amazing, though, is that Rangers can benefit a lot from gear upgrades.

Ranger is the best class in MU: Pocket Knight due to the AFK benefits, the range, efficiency, and the ability to kill the mobs even before they reach them. This makes them an effective contender for every class as the main character. Investing in gear is quite wise since it will benefit the most.

For free-to-play, the Ranger class is limited since you need gear to make it work. It is also the only class that will die the quickest in the game if you don't position it correctly. 

Dark Wizard - A Tier

The Dark Wizard class has powerful elemental magic that allows you to destroy groups of enemies quickly. They are annihilators of enemies and are famous for their crowd control and explosive AoE. DW are also indispensable in dungeons and group battles, and while they cannot take a lot of hits, the sheer destructive power is enough to put them into the A-tier.

However, the only reason we didn't do it in the S-tier is because of the low HP and defence. But you might be asking, wasn't Ranger also put in S-tier? The answer to that is that the Ranger class still has solid burst damage with a range that cannot be matched by the Dark Wizard. 

If you love spellcasting and a class that can scale pretty darn well later in the game, then this is the perfect AoE class in the game. Dungeon runners, people who want to play in groups, and even AFK farmers, all will have an amazing time with its active and passive skillset. 

Magic Gladiator - B Tier

Lastly, we have the Magic Gladiator class, and it comes in a B-tier. This character is a hybrid DPS and a versatile fighter that comes with its own set of advantages and disadvantages. This class wields both Melee and magic abilities, making them the most versatile in the game but also the hardest to master.

This is because MGs will switch between physical and magical play styles, adapting to different situations, but since they are a jack of all trades, this means that they don't excel in one specific area. 

We will say that if you're a player who values flexibility and experimentation, or you're a veteran who enjoys min-maxing hybrid builds, this class would be an ideal one for you.
