What is Alliance in Whiteout Survival?

Just like Guilds, Alliances in Whiteout Survival bring different players together to form a group of characters in cities. Being part of an alliance, you get many benefits, including protection from other players, strong buffs within your territory, and access to special events. 

Therefore, you should aim to join one of the top alliances in your state because you will then perform better in events. This will also help you get greater rewards and provide an even stronger protection, as other players will not provoke war with someone from a leading alliance.

But how exactly do you join an alliance? Once your alliance reaches level 7, you can join an alliance. To find the alliance, go to your profile, select the Leaderboard button, and then go to the Alliance Power section. 

However, Alliances are listed by power. This will allow you to select the best option for you. For example, an alliance may require a minimum furnace level. So, you will need to reach that level to join.

You can even create your own alliance for 400 Gems, which is not too shabby. However, this cost will be removed once the furnace level reaches level 10. 

Understanding Alliance Levels

Just like Heroes and Pets, Alliances also have levels. But in this case, the level of alliance determines the features that are available to you. This includes access to something like a Bear Hunt or the ability to build an Alliance HQ.

Hence, raising your alliance and furnace level is quite essential to unlock its full potential. The maximum level for Alliance is 11, and you can increase it by becoming a valuable asset to Alliance Tech and completing the daily missions.

Next, we have the Whiteout Survival Alliance ranks. The leader of an alliance is called the R5. This role has full authority within the alliance, with the ability to perform tasks such as building headquarters, changing the banner, and adding or removing new players. 

Then, we have R4s who have less power than R5 but can still perform many vital tasks. R3, R2, and R1 members have fewer benefits, but they can perform many essential guild tasks. 

All in all, R5 and R4 are important for alliance management, while anything below that doesn't have a significant role in management. They are better off as players.

What are Alliance Territories?

Territory is the most important part of an alliance in our Whiteout Survival Alliance guide. Basically, this aspect of your alliance incorporates the area of the map that is covered. Some areas will provide strategic and resource benefits to a specific Alliance Territory.

To capture, you must have these buildings occupied for at least 30 minutes. Once captured, you will get the facilities for three days without anyone else being able to capture them. There are quite a lot of buffs in the facilities, too. So, do look out for them. 

Fortresses, Resources, and Tech

Just like facilities, each state has 12 fortresses and four strongholds. They can also be captured in the Weekly Fortress Battles event. You will need to register for specific buildings that you want to target, a specific timeslot, and your alliance will face off against you that is registered for the same structure. In the battle, you will need to capture the building and get exciting rewards for your alliance.

Next, we have Alliance resources. These are separate from your personal resources and are also collected differently. So, instead of being gained manually, your resources will automatically be added when you have buildings like Iron Mines or Woodmills in the area. These resources can be used for upgrading Alliance Tech. You will also get powerful buffs, and all the members will get benefits as well. 

Alliance Tech gives the members a chance to contribute resources to unlock specific buffs and upgrades for the whole team. These buffs include increasing member capacity, improving Gathering, and also improving your overall PvP performance.

Basically, there are three tech trees. Growth focuses on alliance development. Then there's the Territory that is perfect for expanding your overall empire. The last one is Battle, which is there to strengthen your PvP capabilities. 

Each contribution as an Alliance member will cost you 100 Alliance Tokens to the players and 100 Alliance EXP to the Alliance. So, once you have enough points, the tech can then be researched, and you will get rewards out of it.
